Luteolin 7-O-glucuronide is a compound that inhibits Matrix Metalloproteinases (MMP) activities, with specific IC50 values for MMP-1, MMP-3, MMP-8, MMP-9, and MMP-13. It also demonstrates biological activity by inhibiting NO production and the mRNA expression of various inflammatory mediators, as well as NF-κB, p38, and JNK activation in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages. In vivo studies suggest it can improve depression-like and stress coping behaviors in sleep-deprived mice models.
